The Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle also known as Sorbonne Nouvelle University, or Paris III, was founded in 1971 following the division of the historic University of Paris (1150-1970). Sorbonne Nouvelle is one of the inheritors of the University of Paris’ faculty of arts and humanities ("arts et lettres"). Sorbonne Nouvelle University offers high-level multidisciplinary degrees in the fields of Modern Languages, Literature, Arts, and Social and Human Sciences. Students interested in studying at Sorbonne Nouvelle will be studying alongside a truly diverse student population on one of the greenest campuses in France.

Nestled in the heart of the 12th arrondissement, students will not only get to experience the academic wonders of Sorbonne Nouvelle but also explore the historic sites of the French Revolution right outside their door. Students will be able to truly immerse themselves into the Parisian culture and lifestyle as they grab a croissant and stroll in the Parc Floral de Paris, walk alongside the Seine River, or join their friends for a concert at the AccorArena.
