For three weeks in July, students will immerse themselves in London with the Foundations of Marketing as their compass. In this 3-credit course led by Notre Dame Marketing Professor, Mitchell Olsen, students will both learn and apply the foundational frameworks, tools, and techniques that Marketing managers use to create value for, and capture value from, stakeholders. An integral component of this London-based program will be a team-based project that gives students the opportunity to apply what they learn by creating a comprehensive marketing strategy that proposes how a brand of their choosing can add new forms of value for a segment of consumers within the United Kingdom’s capital city. To do so, they will be encouraged to gain a keen understanding of both Marketing and the city of London, itself.
