Academic Advising Within College

Every major is unique, and each college has its own requirements and recommendations for study abroad. Each college also has different guidelines for reviewing study abroad and granting approval and will provide details accordingly. Students must make an appointment with their advising dean(s) and/or DUS advisor(s) to obtain approval of study abroad intentions. In these appointments, students will determine program academic fit and potential course load with appropriate course sequencing. Students should also learn how many courses that they take can count towards their chosen major(s) and/or minor(s) and are encouraged to consider taking university requirements.

While some programs and locations may be better suited towards certain majors, with careful planning any student in any college can find multiple locations that will work for them.

Specific course information for each program can be found here
