Why did you choose this study abroad program? Notre Dame attracts many students from various backgrounds who each bring personal and different perspectives on issues regarding religion and societal conflicts. The Jerusalem Study Abroad Program specifically stood out to me because I would be able to participate in one-in-a-lifetime discussions with students at a location that speaks uniquely to each student in various ways either religiously, politically, or ethnically. In addition, Notre Dame is one of the very few universities with a facility in Jerusalem, so participation in this unique program would help me make the very most of my college experience and interact with many other students with different majors!
