Why did you choose this study abroad program? This summer I will be participating in NDI’s Jerusalem Summer Study Abroad. I have always desired to visit the Holy Land and knew I wanted to experience this pilgrimage alongside a cohort of Notre Dame students. I know the experience will be enriching as we engage in dialogue in our classes and experience a new country together. I am excited about the opportunity to study Christianity and Judaism and the Many Tribes of Israel at the heart of the city of Jerusalem. I hope to come away from the program with a deeper understanding of the modern-day challenges of the region and an appreciation for the history and culture.
