Why did you choose this study abroad program? I chose this program because I believed it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Uganda is a place full of untapped history and culture that we in the U.S.do not delve enough into. With the recent media coverage that the country has been getting as well as other cultural contributions that I have learned about due to the study abroad program application, my interest peaked and I realized what an amazing chance this program would allow me to immerse myself in such a rich culture. Overall, I am extremely happy that I was able to be accepted into this program and excited for this opportunity.
