Semester Programs Speed Information Sessions

Speen Info Sessions specific to each of the ND academic colleges and NDI semester study abroad programs will take place on Tuesday, September 26th. Attend a session to learn more about program opportunities, financing study abroad, and/or which programs work best for your major(s). 

If you still have questions after attending a session, we encourage you to attend an Advising on the Fly event to talk with a program director.

Summer Programs

Join NDI as we take students on a world tour and introduce all NDI summer study abroad programs that will be available in 2024. NDI will hold information sessions which will introduce students to the 20+ summer study abroad programs and provide more information on each program's location, course(s), cultural excursions, housing, and much more! 

If you still have questions after attending a session, we encourage you to attend an Advising on the Fly event to talk with a program director.

Senior Fellows In-hall Sessions

The NDI Senior Fellows will be offering a series of in-hall sessions during Study Abroad week for students interested in learning more about the application process and discussing the benefits of studying abroad.

Advising on the Fly

Whether you have a general question about study abroad or want to know something specific about one of our programs, we encourage you to join us at various locations around campus for Advising on the Fly Tuesday through Thursday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. 

Identity Panels with ND Student Government

Interested students are invited to attend our Identity Panels — these sessions, led by Notre Dame Student Government members in collaboration with NDI, will focus on the many diverse experiences of students from different backgrounds who have studied abroad in the past. These panels will take place at 5:00 pm, so that students may attend other Study Abroad Week events. 

Disability Advocacy Panel

The disability advocacy panel will center on the experiences of disabled students and focus on accessibility and accommodations while studying abroad. It will feature a panel of past students speaking about their experiences, followed by a Q&A. This is a collaboration with the Student government led by Student Government members and student body members.

First Generation Low-Income Advocacy Panel

The panel will focus on the experiences of students from first-generation and Low-Income backgrounds studying abroad. It will feature a presentation from a GoFurther summer study abroad scholarship recipient, a panel of past students speaking about their experiences, and a Q&A session with the panelists. This is a collaboration with the Student government led by Student Government members and student body members.

LGBTQ+ Identity Panel

This panel will focus on the experiences of LGBTQ+ students who have studied/traveled abroad in the past. It will feature a panel of students speaking about their experiences while abroad as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It will touch on related resources utilized by LGBTQ+ students when preparing for and traveling abroad. In addition, following the panel, there will be a Q&A session with the panelists. This is a collaboration with the Student government led by Student Government members and student body members.

Race and Ethnicity Identity Panel

This panel will highlight students from various racial and ethnic backgrounds who have previously studied abroad. Students will share about their experiences abroad as racial and ethnic minorities. Afterward, there will be a Q&A session with the panelists. This is a collaboration with the Student government led by Student Government members and student body members.

Global Professional Experience Program Info Session

Come learn more about professional internship opportunities that take place over the summer all over the world. This resource will help students plan and prepare for the many unique many opportunities available to them.

Trivia Night: What in the World

We invite our visiting international exchange students and our Notre Dame study abroad returnee students to an epic international trivia night! Join us for food, meeting new people, and to win some amazing ND prizes!
