Why did you choose this study abroad program? I chose the Milan Business Design Thinking program because it is the perfect opportunity to explore a new culture while growing my global business experience in one of Europe’s economic hubs. This will be my first time in both Europe and Italy; what better way to experience it than taking a hands-on, project-based design thinking course alongside Italian students at the University of Cattolica! Furthermore, I’m excited to visit company offices in Milan, build cross-cultural friendships, and gain a new perspective of business. Through the Sau Ching Global Scholars for Asia program, I also look forward to bridging American, Asian, and European cultures while researching the Chinese Italian immigrant experience, a project inspired by my own heritage as a daughter of Asian immigrants.
