Why did you choose this study abroad program? My goal for this summer is to both improve my ability to speak and understand Japanese while simultaneously getting hands-on experience working at a firm. I chose this internship in Tokyo because I believe that it is the ideal scenario to get experience related to both of my majors: accounting and Japanese. I hope to return to the U.S. at the end of the program with a greater understanding of international business, an in-depth knowledge of a firm’s internal workings, an improved ability to speak Japanese, and a greater appreciation for Japanese culture.
