Why did you choose this study abroad program? I chose the Beijing Summer Philosophy program for it is the perfect interdisciplinary intersection of my interests in philosophy and sciences. My goal is not merely to immerse myself in an entirely distinct culture that will enrich my global citizenship, but also to further my personal research of the inherent philosophy that resides in the development of artificial intelligence. I look forward to interacting with some of the most passionate academics in Peking University at the heart of the ideologically divergent technological powerhouse that is China. I hope to come back to the US with a more educated, conscious and ultimately more human perspective with which to lead my life and change those around me for the better.
