Why did you choose this study abroad program? While taking a class about the East India Company in London last semester, I learned about its evolution, its transformations, and its cultural impact, from the city of London to the consolidation of the modern world economy. Studying its historical influence on India sparked my interest in diving deeper into Indian culture, history, and society. This program offers a unique opportunity to not only continue exploring these topics academically, but also immerse myself in the vibrant cultural landscape of Mumbai through hands-on experiences like visiting Bollywood Studios and engaging in service activities. The India Summer Program is an enriching way to broaden my perspective and deepen my understanding of global interconnectedness.
