Season 2 - Sam Eppich
Sam Eppich is a member of the Class of 2022, majoring in Psychology and FTT and minoring in Digital Marketing. While unfortunately unable to participate in study abroad at Notre Dame due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam has traveled to a variety of countries ranging from Kerala, India to Killarney, Ireland. Through travel, he has not only become exposed to new cultures and life experiences, but also been able to reconnect with his family’s own cultural heritage. Sam has gained so much from his international experiences, and is excited to share the perspectives of students, alumni, and staff about their time abroad as the host of Notre Dame International’s Study Abroad Podcast: BeyoND Study Abroad.
Season 1 - Sofia Perez
Sofia Perez is a senior biochemistry major who studied abroad at the Notre Dame London Global Gateway program in Fall 2019. While abroad she participated in an internship at the St. Thomas More Catholic School and traveled to a variety of countries around Europe from popular vacation spots like Barcelona to unique locations such as Bardejov, Slovakia. Before studying abroad, her international experience was extremely limited and she had never been outside of North America. Overcoming all apprehensions and nerves, Sofia could not have been more excited and ended up gaining so much from her time living in London and from her travels to fifteen different countries. Her time abroad was unforgettable, and this year she is excited to be hosting Notre Dame International’s Study Abroad Podcast: BeyoND Study Abroad. She will be sharing her own abroad experiences while interviewing a variety of students, alumni, and staff about their time abroad.
