Study Abroad Week 2023

Notre Dame International (NDI) is leading its annual Study Abroad Week from Monday, September 25 to Friday, September 29. The week will consist of panel discussions, information sessions, and social gatherings to promote study abroad’s variety of offerings to students.

As one of the week’s main events, NDI is partnering with Student Government to host four identity panels led by Notre Dame students who have participated in study abroad programs. Each panel will have a different topic—LGBTQ+, disabilities advocacy, race and ethnicity, and first generation low-income—where students will share their experiences and offer perspectives regarding their time abroad.

NDI will have staff from each of its Global Gateway/Center locations on campus to talk about their programs. There will be information sessions and events to learn about program offerings per location or region. These will also include speed information sessions, advising on the fly, a Global Professional Experience (GPE) program information session, and a trivia night.

During the week, staff will be wearing blue study abroad shirts, so feel free to approach them with any questions! More information can be found here, along with the schedule of panels and information sessions.

Notre Dame International offers over 60 semester and/or academic year programs. Applications are already open and the deadline for semester programs will be November 1. Summer program applications are open now through November 15. Learn more and apply for Notre Dame study abroad programs here.
