Travel & Safety

At the University of Notre Dame, students have numerous opportunities to participate in international academic programs—to undertake part of their education abroad. In keeping with its mission and vision, Notre Dame Global creates and administers a growing variety of Study Abroad programs and acts as a clearinghouse to make students aware of other opportunities beyond study abroad. NDG also provides guidance and support on international travel to help students make well-informed decisions.

Each year, NDG supports more than 2,500 undergraduate and 3,000 faculty and staff trips abroad. With a full-time international travel and safety professional, NDG aims to ensure Notre Dame travelers are equipped for global travel through providing health and safety preparation and resources. Before traveling, students are expected and required to take steps to make them well-informed global travelers.
