Majors: Neuroscience and Behavior
Why did you choose your program? What better opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in a new culture than studying abroad. You get to live in a different country without having the stress of finding a place to live and a new job, and I couldn't let that opportunity pass me by. I chose Dublin because I wanted to learn more about the "Fighting Irish" background and because I thought it was a Goldilocks program for me, not too big and not too small.
Favorite story: My favorite memory from studying abroad was the Samhain (Halloween) celebration put on by the O'Connell House, where we had an intense costume contest, lots of fun games, and a big trivia competition after.
One piece of advice: Don’t be nervous if you don’t know anyone. Most people in my program (myself included) were all in the same boat, and I am thankful for that because I gained 55 new friends during my time in Dublin!
