NDG is not able to accept every study abroad application it receives. This may be for a variety of reasons, including program capacity. However, you may still have some options.
- A limited number of programs may not have reached capacity during the initial application cycle (Sept. 1 - Nov. 1). If this is the case and your initial application was not accepted, you will receive information about alternate program options.
- Not all accepted students will accept their study abroad offers. When this occurs, the Study Abroad team may be in touch with qualified students who applied and did not receive an offer.
- If the program you applied for has availability in the alternate term and you qualify, the study abroad office can switch your application over without the need to reapply.
- Some students who have been accepted to study abroad may decide to withdraw from their programs before departure. If this occurs, the Study Abroad team may be in touch with qualified students who applied and did not receive an offer.
- Notre Dame Global is committed to expanding its Study Abroad capacity. Check our website regularly for announcements about new opportunities. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements of a program before submitting an application.
