Nanzan University is located in Nagoya City, the hub of education, culture, commerce, and industry in central Japan. The Nagoya region played an important role in Japan's history and many remarkable traditions and customs are still alive there today. Nagoya is famous for being the home of the Toyota Corporation, Noritake China dinnerware, and the castle that Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa built in 1610 for his ninth son. It is located in the center of Honshu, Japan's main island, midway between Tokyo and Kyoto, and only an hour from the Kii Peninsula and the Ise-Shima National Park, famous for its shrines.

The study abroad program with Nanzan University offers students the opportunity to pursue intensive Japanese language study in the heart of Japan at one of Japan’s leading Catholic universities.
