The Budapest program is designed for high-achieving mathematics majors eager to explore a wide variety of topics at the intermediate and advanced level. Work with other dedicated mathematics students in small classes taught in English by eminent international scholars. A variety of courses is offered, all of which emphasize problem solving, foster creativity, and support group learning.

The program is centrally situated in the beautiful, affordable, and accessible city of Budapest that encompasses both sides of the Danube River. Enjoy the blended influence of Western and Eastern Europe in this city abundant in museums, art galleries, pubs, coffeehouses, concert and ballet theaters, and sports arenas. Budapest offers changing perspectives between the centuries-old and well preserved to modern and avant-garde, the cultural and industrial. The architecture, art, and history of Budapest make it a compelling city to visit and a great place to study mathematics!

Students in the Budapest program have the option to participate in a two-week intensive Hungarian language course prior to the start of the semester.
